Day 1
We depart locally and travel to Pembroke for the afternoon sailing to Rosslare and onto our hotel in Waterford. Enjoy a 3-course evening meal followed by live entertainment in Timber Toes Bar.
Day 2 - 4
Days 2 - 4: At leisure in Waterford plus we include 2 excursions:
COUNTY WEXFORD & DUNBRODY FAMINE SHIP
Today we cross over into County Wexford where we will see the JFK Arboretum, a permanent memorial to America's assassinated preside with wonderful international collection of trees and shrubs. In nearby New Ross we visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship, an authentic reproduction of an 1840's emigrant vessel where costumed performers bring many fascinating stories to life. (B, D)
KILKENNY
Excursion to the well preserved medieval town of Kilkenny. On arrival we'll board the Kilkenny Road Train which travels through the narrow streets to reveal the abbey, cathedral and other hidden highlights of the town. Then enjoy the rest of the day to explore at leisure.
Day 5
We make our way to Rosslare for the morning sailing back home to South Wales.
