GLACIER EXPRESS
A highlight of the tour today, as we enjoy a scenic journey on board the Glacier Express with breath-taking views around every corner. We travel from Andermatt to Chur travelling in a 2nd class panorama carriage perfect for taking in unrestricted views of rugged cliffs, forests, deep gorges, clear lakes and pretty mountain villages. BERNE
Excursion to Berne, capital of Switzerland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a medieval city with many fountains and unique historic towers. (B,D)
LUCERNE
Visit Lucerne, a compact city which boasts an impressive mountainous panorama. Its medieval Chapel Bridge is considered to be one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe.
ZURICH
Trip to the cosmopolitan city of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, with free time to explore at leisure.
Day 1
TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO EMMETTEN
We complete the journey to our resort and enjoy a welcome aperitif on arrival, followed by dinner. (B, D)
Day 3
BERNE

Day 6
ZURICH
Scenic drive to the cosmopolitan city of Zurich which lies in the heart of Switzerland on the northern shores of Lake Zurich. The overall quality of life here is frequently voted the best in the world. After free time to explore we visit the Lindt the Chocolate Museum of Switzerland before returning the hotel. (B,D)
Day 7
EMMETTEN TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B,D)
Day 8
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
