Excursion 1

LUDLOW, SHREWSBURY & RIVER SEVERN CRUISE
Enjoy a morning visit to the charming medieval town of Ludlow which boasts over 500 listed buildings before continuing on to the river town of Shrewsbury, famed for its black and white timber buildings. From here we'll take a relaxing cruise on the River Severn.

BLISTS HILL MUSEUM & IRONBRIDGE GORGE
This morning we visit Blists Hill Victorian Town where you can step back in time and experience Victorian life in the 1800's at the famous open air museum. We'll return via Ironbridge where the industrial revolution began and see the cast iron structure built in 1779.

WELSH BORDERS & PONTCYSYLLTE AQUEDUCT
We make our way to the charming town of Llangollen with free time to explore at leisure before boarding a narrowboat for a 2 hour scenic trip across Thomas Telford's majestic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct - 1000 feet long and 126 feet high, and recognised as a World Heritage Site.
