Day 1
TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO WERFENWENG
We complete the journey to our resort where we stay for the next five nights with a welcome drink on arrival. (B, D)
Day 3
ZELL AM SEE
Our excursion today takes us to Zell am See, beautifully located between crystal clear Lake Zell and the surrounding mountain peaks. Stroll through the charming old town, enjoy a stroll along the lakeside or relax in one of the many cafes with views of the water and mountains. (B,D)
Day 4
SALZBURG
Today we visit Salzburg, birthplace of the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the filming location for the Sound of Music. It is known as one of the most beautiful baroque cities on the northern side of the Alps. We have a guided tour here to see the main sights then free time to explore at leisure. (B,D)
Day 5
FORTRESS HOHENWERFEN & EAGLE SHOW
Our excursion today takes us to Fortress Hohenwerfen, a magnificent medieval castle located on a high rock above the Salzach Valley. The castle is also home to Austria's first Falconry Museum and we will witness the awe-inspiring Eagle Show, where majestic birds of prey take flight against the backdrop of the fortress. (B, D)
Day 6
BAD GASTEIN & SCHNAPPS TASTING
This morning we visit Bad Gastein, famous for its striking Belle Epoque architecture and the impressive waterfall cascading through the very heart of the town. After free time here we return to the hotel for lunch before our afternoon drive to the Rauris Velley for a visit to a traditional alpine hut. Here you will learn how homemade schnapps is distilled and how alpine bacon is traditionally produced. Our visit concludes with a convivial tasting of schnapps, bacon and hearty cheese bread, offering an authentic taste of alpine life. (B,D)

WERFENWENG TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)
