Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

Day 2

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO LYON
We continue our journey to Lyon where we embark the A-ROSA STELLA our home for the next 7 nights. We depart this evening and sail through the night. (B,D)

Day 3

VIVIERS
Viviers is a small medieval city and is a hidden gem in the Ardèche region boasting well-preserved monuments from bygone ages. (B,L,D)

Day 4

ARLES
Arles is a stunning sun drenched city in Provence and occupies a broad bend in the River Rhône. Once a great Roman port, many of its monuments have been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city is also where the artist Van Gogh lived and painted some of is most famous masterpieces. We remain in Arles overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 5

PORT ST LOUIS
The small port city of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône at the gateway to the Camargue region, is located just a few kilometres from the mouth of the river to the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the Saint Louis Tower (cost not included) and you will be rewarded by stunning views of the Camargue, the St Louis canal, the mouth of the Rhône and the salt marshes. (B,L,D)

Day 6

AVIGNON
This morning we arrive into the imposing historic city of Avignon, one of the most popular ports of call on A-ROSA's Rhône cruises. It is a historic city that at one time was the seat of the Catholic popes. Be sure to visit the unique Palais des Papes, a World Heritage Listed fortress in Avignon's ancient quarter (cost not included). (B,L,D)

Day 7

TOURNON
In the afternoon we'll arrive at picturesque Tournon which lies on the banks of the River Rhône. The mild climate in the region has allowed Le Jardin d'Eden park here to really flourish and it is a real oasis of relaxation. (B, L,D)

Day 8

LYON
Lyon is certainly a must see city with its old town a UNESCO World Heritage Site and narrow alleyways, courtyards and squares on the Presqu'?le waiting to be discovered. We are moored here overnight so you can appreciate the more than 200 sights that are illuminated after dark, enhancing the beauty of the city. (B, L,D)

Day 9

FROM LYON TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
After disembarking we head north through France to our final overnight stay. (B,D)

Day 10

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We travel to Calais for the return sea crossing and complete the journey home. (B)

Please note this cruise is operated by A-ROSA. All sailing times are approximate and can be subject to change. On certain cruises, it may be necessary to sail throughout the night, details of which will be shown on your final itinerary where applicable. Cruise ports of call are generally situated in central locations of the cities or resorts that we are visiting. However, we cannot guarantee that the resort/city centres are within suitable walking distances from where the ship docks. River cruise routes could be subject to change due to local weather, traffic, flooding, high and low water levels, lock closures, road works and other unforeseen circumstances. A-ROSA and the ship's captain reserve the right to modify the cruising itinerary to ensure the safe navigation of the vessel. Supplements reflect the deck position and not the size of the cabin.

The on-board currency is Euro. During the trip, use your cabin card as your own credit card. At the end of the journey you can pay your final account in cash, with EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. The booking of shore excursions will be billed to your cabin account.
