New Year in The Trossachs

Day 1

Depart South Wales in the morning, travelling to Drymen, near Loch Lomond and the Winnock Hotel. Join your fellow guests for your three course dinner followed by a festive quiz.

Day 2

New Year's Eve - Following a full Scottish breakfast we make our way to the Scottish Capital 'Edinburgh'. From its frosted spires to its festive streets, Edinburgh transforms itself for six weeks of Christmas & New Year celebrations. When we return to the hotel, join us for a Gala Dinner. The Ceilidh band & disco will keep you entertained up to 'the bells' and beyond!

Day 3

New Years Day 'Happy New Year to you all' - Breakfast will be served in the Capercaillie this morning. This evening, enjoy a "Taste of Scotland" buffet featuring produce from around Scotland. Later enjoy tonight's entertainment with a "Abba Tribute Band".

Day 4

After your full Scottish breakfast we make our way to Stirling, where you may wish to visit the Old Town and historic castle, overlooking the site of 'Braveheart' Sir William Wallace's greatest victory. Stirling's Old Town with its bustling city centre boasts the finest concentration of historic buildings in Scotland. Beautifully preserved medieval and Renaissance churches and mansions cluster around the Old Town, flanked by cobbled streets, period street furniture and Victorian styled iron work. A 4-course menu will be served tonight followed by a traditional Scottish ceilidh with bagpipes and dancing!

Day 5

Fill up with a final Scottish Breakfast before we complete the journey home, arriving back in South Wales late afternoon. A comfort and refreshment stop will be taken en route when your driver can give you an accurate time of arrival if you are to be met by friends or relatives.
