The Loire Valley is the land of stunning châteaux, fine wines and spectacular scenery. On our new tour we’ll visit the dramatic Château de Chenonceau which spans the River Cher, Château de Clos de Lucé, Blois, Tours as well as a wine tasting of delicious local wines and a free day in charming Amboise.

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO AMBOISE
We complete the journey to our resort where we stay for the next four nights. (B, D)
Day 3
CHÂTEAU DE CHENONCEAU & BLOIS
This morning we visit the magnificent Château de Chenonceau, one of the most photographed in the area which enjoys a dramatic position spanning the River Cher. Here we will visit the château and gardens before continuing on to the well preserved town of Blois which has been classified as a protected Historic Town in France. (B, D)
Day 4
AMBOISE
Enjoy a day at leisure in Amboise today. Explore the charming town and marvel at the Troglodyte cave dwellings that have been turned into houses and wine cellars. (B, D)
Day 5
CHÂTEAU DE CLOS DE LUCÉ, TOURS & WINE TASTING
This morning we visit the nearby Château de Clos de Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years. We then make our way to the charming town of Tours with free time to explore at leisure before we visit a wine cellar for a tour and tasting of delicious wines from the region. (B,D)
Day 6
AMBOISE TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)
Day 7
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
