Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

Day 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO RADFELD
We complete the journey to our resort where we stay for the next five nights. (B, D)

Day 3

INNSBRUCK & SWAROVSKI WORLD OF CRYSTALS SHOP
Today we visit Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol where we have a guided tour so you can see the main sights including the historic old town with its legendary Golden Roof, the Hofburg, former imperial residence of the ruling Habsburgs and pretty Maria Thereisenstraße where you will find the renowned Swarovski Crystal Worlds Store. Here you will learn about the dazzing Swarovski empire and even receive a small sparkling gift. (B, D)

Day 4

RATTENBERG & ZILLER VALLEY STEAM TRAIN
This morning we first visit Rattenberg, the smallest town in Tyrol which has almost completely preserved its medieval townscape. Here we visit one of the showrooms of the Kisslinger glass factory to see the artisans at work. Later we enjoy a ride on the Ziller Valley Steam Train from Mayrhofen to Fügen accompanied by atmospheric music. (B, D)

Day 5

KRIMML WATERFALLS & PINZGAU NARROW GAUGE RAILWAY
Our excursion today takes us first of all to the breath-taking Krimml Waterfalls, the largest in Europe. Experience up close the force of water as the waterfall drops 380 metres - a most impressive natural spectacle. We continue to Niedernsill where we board the Pinzgau narrow gauge railway for a journey through the high mountain region of the Salzburg Pinzgau offering spectacular vistas. (B,D)

Day 6

ACHENSEE STEAM TRAIN, GRAMAI & LAKE ACHEN BOAT TRIP
Today we make our way to Lake Achensee, the largest lake in the region. From Jenbach we boat the Achensee Steam Train for a scenic journey to Seespitz. From here we continue to the picturesque Gramai Valley where we enjoy a traditional Kaiserschmarren (lightly sweetened pancake) before taking to Lake Achen for a scenic lake cruise. (B, D)

Day 7

RADFELD TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)

Day 8

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
