Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

Day 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO PRAGUE
We complete the journey to Prague where we stay for the next three nights. (B, D)

Day 3

PRAGUE OLD TOWN
Today we have a half day guided city tour where your knowledgeable local guide will introduce you to Prague's most important sights. Highlights include the Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock and moving figures, the Gothic Charles Bridge and the impressive Wenceslas Square. The afternoon is at leisure and in the evening we take a relaxing cruise along the Vltava River accompanied by dinner and music on board .(B,D)

Day 4

PRAGUE CASTLE
This morning we have a guided visit of the impressive Prague Castle, one of the largest enclosed castle complexes in the world. From here you can enjoy magnificent views across the rooftops of Prague's Old Town and the Vltava River. The afternoon is at leisure and in the evening we enjoy dinner at a traditional Prague restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5

PRAGUE TO VIENNA
We depart Prague this morning and make our way to Vienna with a sort stop in Telc before arriving in Vienna where we stay for the next three nights. (B, D)

Day 6

VIENNA
Today we embark on a sightseeing tour of Vienna by coach. Renowned for its fine buildings, our tour includes view of the lavish terraced gardens of Belvedere Palace, the State Opera and the sprawling Hofburg residence of Emperor Franz Jospeh. This evening our 3 course dinner with home-grown wines is served at a typical wine inn or 'Heurigen' accompanied by local musicians. (B,D)

Day 7

VIENNA
This morning we visit Schönbrunn Palace, a building of architectural splendour, commissioned by Emperor Leopold I for his son Josef I. It is decorated in the Rococo style of the 18th century and in the courtyard stands the Wagenburg Museum showing numerous coaches and sleights from the Imperial era. We return to the city centre where the rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner is served at our hotel this evening . (B,D)

Day 8

VIENNA TO BUDAPEST VIA BRATISLAVA
We depart Vienna this morning travelling via Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia where we have some free time to admire the many fine buildings. It's baroque and rococo palaces are as elegant as any found in Vienna. By late afternoon we arrive in the beautiful city of Budapest. The plains of Pest are divided from the hilly area of Buda by the scenic River Danube. Dinner is served at our hotel this evening. (B,D)

Day 9

BUDAPEST & DANUBE CRUISE
This morning we meet our local guide for a sightseeing tour featuring Budapest's most important attractions. Highlights include the Citadel, Fisherman's Bastion, The Castle District as well as Heroes Square and the Parliament Building. In the afternoon relax on a cruise along the Danube River. Dinner is served at our hotel this evening. (B, D)

Day 10

DANUBE BEND
Our excursion today takes is to the much-celebrated Danube Bend, including a visit to the charming artists town of Szentendre. Admire the impressive panoramic views for the castle hill north of historic Visegrád and visit Hungary's largest church, the magnificent Basilica of Eszetergom. (B, D)

Day 11

BUDAPEST TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL (GERMANY)
We depart Budapest this morning and travel to our overnight stay in Germany. (B, D)

Day 12

OVERNIGHT HOTEL (GERMANY) TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL (FRANCE)
We continue our journey today to our final overnight stay in France. (B, D)

Day 13

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
