Visit to Beth Chatto Gardens, transformed from an overgrown wasteland into a series of informal gardens by Beth Chatto OBE, an award-winning plantswoman in the 1960's. Admire the Gravel Garden, Water Garden and Woodland Garden. We'll also spend time in Colchester, once Britain's First City and the former capital of Roman Britain it has a rich history dating back over 2000 years.
