Four Countries & Lake Constance

DAY 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

DAY 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO TSCHAGGUNS
We complete the journey to our resort where we stay for the next five nights with a welcome drink on arrival. (B, D)

DAY 3

3 FLOWER ISLAND MAINAU & LAKE CONSTANCE (GERMANY)
Today we make our way to Meersburg on the shores of Lake Constance where we take a leisurely ferry ride across the lake to Konstanz. Enjoy time here at leisure to stroll through the old town's romantic alleys or visit the picturesque harbour. Later we visit the famous Flower Island Mainau where you can marvel at the island's breathtaking floral displays, beautifully landscaped gardens and the Palm and Butterfly Houses. (B,D)

DAY 4

MORNING AT LEISURE & VADUZ (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Spend a relaxing morning at your hotel and in the afternoon we make our way to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, the sixth smallest country in the world. Here we will take a round trip on the 'CityTrain' which takes you through the historic Alt-Vadux and past the vineyards. (B,D)

DAY 5

FELDKIRCH, BREGENZERWALD & BREGENZ (AUSTRIA)
Our excursion today takes us to charming Feldkirch, known for its enchanting old town, medieval arcades and winding alleys. We have a guided tour here to uncover the rich history of the town before continuing to Bregenzerwald where we will board the historic Wälderbähnle, a narrow gauge railway, for a scenic ride. Finally we make our way to Bregenz and have time to admire its charming medieval buildings, or relax on the scenic lake promenade. (B, D)

DAY 6

ST GALLEN & APPENZELL (SWITZERLAND)
Our final excursion sees us in Switzerland as we travel to St Gallen with its picturesque old town, and the Abbey District which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we enjoy a guided tour before visiting the Appenzell Show Dairy where you can discover the traditional art of cheese making in this renowned Swiss region. We then make our way to Appenzell whose main street is lined with vibrant, colourful houses. (B,D)

DAY 7

TSCHAGGUNS TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)

DAY 8

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
