For the last 10 years, Llantrisant, home of Edwards Coaches, has been twinned with the town of Crecy-en-Ponthieu in northern France, where Longbowmen from Llantrisant fought at the Battle of Crecy in 1346 during the Hundred Years’ War. It was this link between the two towns that was the basis of the holiday suggestion by Catherine Davies for our Customer Choice Competition last year, we are delighted to be featuring this winning tour in our main 2025 holiday programme.

CENTRE HISTORIQUE CRÉCY LA BATAILLE
Visit to the historical centre 'Crécy La Bataille' which allows visitors to discover the context of the Hundred Years' War and the famous battle of August 26, 1346. We'll also visit the battle site with a guide and have a meeting with a representative from the Town Hall in Crécy en Ponthieu.

MONTREUIL-SUR-MER & LE TOUQUET PARIS-PLAGE
Excursion to the picture-postcard pretty town of Montreuil sur Mer which sits on top of a hill, encircled by ancient ramparts. Later we visit Le Touquet Paris-Plage, an outstanding seaside resort on the Opal Coast. With tax free shopping, and over 300 shops to browse, it really is a paradise for shopaholics.
