County Clare, Galway & Cliffs of Moher

Day 1

TO WATERFORD
We travel to Pembroke for our ferry crossing to Rosslare and continue on to Waterford y where we stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (D)

Day 2

WATERFORD TO ENNIS
After breakfast we commence our journey across Ireland, stopping in the historical city of Limerick en-route. From here we continue on to Ennis where we stay for the next four nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (B, D)

Day 3

COUNTY CLARE COASTAL TOUR
This morning we make our way to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher which tower dramatically over the west County Clare coast. Here we visit the award-winning visitor centre where the story of the cliffs is brought to life. We then make our way to the Burren Smokehouse for a smoked salmon talk and behind the scenes look at the methods used, plus enjoy a tasting of delicious organic Irish salmon. (B, D)

Day 4

FREE DAY
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Ennis. (B,D)

Day 5

GALWAY
Excursion to the vibrant, colourful city of Galway. It is a lively place with beautiful coloured buildings, attractions such as the Spanish Arch built to protect the city's quays, Galway cathedral and traditional Irish music found in almost every pub. (B, D)

Day 6

ENNIS TO WATERFORD VIA BUNRATTY
We bid farewell to Ennis this morning and first call into Bunratty with free time to explore. The town is home to the 15th century castle and Bunratty Folk Park, a 'living village' in a rural setting. After some free time here we continue on to Waterford where we stay overnight once more. (B, D)

Day 7

FROM WATERFORD
After an early breakfast we travel to Rosslare to board the early morning sailing to Pembroke from where we complete the journey home. (B)
