Christmas in Austria on the Red Dragon

Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

Day 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO KIRCHBERG
We complete the journey to our resort where we stay for the next five nights with a welcome drink before dinner this evening. (B, D)

Day 3

INNSBRUCK & CHRISTMAS MARKET
Excursion to the city of Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol with a guided tour before time at leisure for you to see the main sights including the historic old town with its legendary Golden Roof, the Hofburg as well as time in the wonderful Christmas market. Before returning to the hotel for dinner you will have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Christmas concert with traditional Austrian Christmas performances including a drink. (B, D)

Day 4

KITZBÜHEL
This morning we visit the charming village of Kitzbühel, known as the playground of the rich and famous. Enjoy some free time here to explore its picturesque streets or simply take in in the festive alpine atmosphere. Later we return to Kirchberg for a traditional Austrian Christmas Eve Gala dinner with roast goose. (B, D)

Day 5

CHRISTMAS DAY
Enjoy a relaxing Christmas Day in your resort. In the afternoon enjoy traditional Christmas cookies and mulled wine before enjoying a Christmas turkey dinner. (B, D)

Day 6

SALZBURG
Our excursion today is to Salzburg which captures the magic of the festive season. We enjoy a guided walking tour taking in the stunning baroque architecture and twinkling lights. Later explore the renowned Christmas market filled with delightful aromas and seasonal treats. (B, D)

Day 7

KIRCHBERG TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)

Day 8

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
