Day 1
TO COUNTY WICKLOW
We travel to Fishguard for our ferry crossing to Rosslare and continue on to Co. Wicklow where we stay overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (D)
Day 2
COUNTY WICKLOW TO LETTERKENNY
After breakfast we make commence our journey northwards arriving at our hotel in Letterkenny in the afternoon. We stay here for the next three nights. (B, D)
Day 3
INISHOWEN PENINSULA & DERRY
Today we enjoy a scenic drive on a guided tour around the rugged Inishowen Peninsula to Malin Head, the northernmost point in Ireland. The coastal views here are truly breath-taking. We return to Letterkenny via Derry, set on the banks of the River Foyle, we take a walking tour of the city, the only completely walled city in Ireland, to discover its chequered past and history. Day 4
GIANT'S CAUSEWAY
A highlight of the tour today as we visit the iconic Giant's Causeway, a unique UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here 40,000 symmetrical columns rise dramatically from the sea, a truly spectacular sight. After time to enjoy the Giant's Causeway Visitor Experience, we head back to Londonderry for more free time to explore at leisure. (B, D)
Day 5
DERRY TO COUNTY WICKLOW
We depart Derry this morning and visit the Ulster American Folk Park en route to Co. Wicklow. Here you'll experience the epic story of Ireland's emigration from the thatched cottages of Ulster, on board a full-scale emigrant sailing ship to the log cabins of the American Frontier - all brought to life through enactments. We continue to our final overnight stay in Co. Wicklow arriving in time for dinner. (B,D)
Day 6
COUNTY WICKLOW TO HOME
We depart the hotel early for our return sailing to Pembroke, with breakfast being taken on board the ferry, before continuing our journey home. (B)
