British Museum & Bayeux Tapestry Daytrip
See the iconic Bayeux Tapestry which is on display at The British Museum for a strictly limited time on a historic loan from France, returning to England for the first time since it was made nearly 1,000 years ago. This monumental embroidery tells the dramatic story of a moment that changed England forever and is one of the wonders of the medieval world.
Experience and layout
· This experience will take approximately 40 minutes to enjoy.
· The Tapestry will be displayed flat at a height of 80cm.
· A supporting animation runs behind the display.
· There are low light levels throughout the space to help conserve the Tapestry.
· Lifts are available for visitors who cannot use stairs.
· There is a single accessible toilet available once you have entered the foyer but please note that there are no toilets available in the space itself. If you exit to use the Great Court public toilets you will not be able to re-enter The Bayeux Tapestry.

This morning we depart locally and travel to London for our visit to The British Museum for the Bayeux Tapestry Experience. We depart later this afternoon and make our way back home to your original departure point.
