This new D-Day Beaches tour offers the change to commemorate the brave soldiers of World War II. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide we see the key sites, cemeteries and monuments associated with the battles that took place here.

Day 1
TO CAEN
Following the Channel crossing to Calais and complete the journey to Caen where we stay for the next four nights. (D)
Day 2
BRITISH & CANADIAN SECTORS
Today we explore the British and Canadian sectors of the Normandy Beaches. With our own knowledgeable guide we will visit the Arromanches 360 Circular Cinema, an immersive experience with surround cinema screen to bring the military action to life. Later we travel to Ouistreham and visit the museum at the restored Grand Bunker, part of the Atlantic Wall, the most powerful German coastal battery. (B,D)
Day 3
CAEN & CAEN MEMORIAL MUSEUM
This morning we travel into the centre of Caen with free time to explore its castle built for William the Conquerer which also houses the Fine Arts Museum and Normandy Museum (entrance not included). This afternoon we visit the Caen Memorial Museum which tells the story of 20th century history in Europe with an innovative 360-degree film. (B,D)
Day 4
AMERICAN SECTOR
Today we explore the American sector of the Normandy Beaches. With our knowledgeable guide we visitthe the Airborne Museum, dedicated to the American paratroopers engaged in the invasion of 1944. Later we visit the German trenches and explore the bunkers of Maisy Battery, Normandy's best kept secret after being buried for 60 years. (B, D)
Day 5
FROM CAEN
After breakfast we make our way to Calais for our return ferry back to the UK and complete the journey home. (B)
