DAY 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais and complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation. (D)

DAY 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO CALELLA
We complete the journey to our Calella where we stay for the next two nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (B,D)

DAY 3

BARCELONA
Today we visit the vibrant city of Barcelona where we have a guided walking tour to explore the city's iconic landmarks including the stunning Sagrada Familia, the bustling Las Ramblas and the historic quarter. You will also have free time to explore at leisure. (B,D)

DAY 4

TARRAGONA & ROMAN AMPITHEATRE
We depart Calella this morning and head south, first calling into the coastal city of Tarragona where we will have a guided walking tour which includes a visit to the impressive Roman Ampitheatre. From here we continue our journey to Valencia where we stay for the next two nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (B,D)

DAY 5

VALCENIA
We spend the day in Valencia getting to know the main sights on a guided walking tour of the historic centre including the Valencia Cathedral and the Silk Exchange, providing an insight into the city's medieval past. (B,D)

DAY 6

CUENCA
We depart Valencia this morning and head inland calling into the city of Cuenca, renowned for its remarkable hanging houses built on cliffs and its UNESCO World Heritage Status. We have a guided walking tour here before we continue our journey to Madrid where we stay for the next three nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (B,D)

DAY 7

MADRID
Explore the city's iconic sights of Spain's capital city, Madrid, on our walking tour including the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor and the lively Mercado de San Miguel. (B,D)

DAY 8

FREE DAY.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Madrid. (B, D)

DAY 9

MADRID TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL (BORDEAUX AREA)
We depart our hotel and commence our journey home with an en route stop in St Jean de Luz before continuing to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation in the Bordeaux area. (B, D)

DAY 10

OVERNIGHT HOTEL (BORDEAUX AREA) TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL (NORMANDY AREA)
We continue our journey back to northern France calling into Tours in the Loire Valley en route to Normandy where we stay overnight once more. (B, D)

DAY 11

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
