Day 1
TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais, we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We continue our journey to our next overnight hotel. (B, D)
Day 3
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO CHIANCIANO TERME
We complete the journey to our resort of Chianciano Terme, one of the most admired thermal bath destinations in Europe, arriving in time for dinner. (B, D)
Day 4
MONTEPULCIANO & PIENZA
This morning we travel to Montepulciano, famous for its excellent wines. The small town is packed with charm and its winding main street, the Corso, climbs up to the main square on top of the hill. In the afternoon we visit nearby Pienza, surrounded by the hills of the Val d'Orcia. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is considered to be the capital of Pecorino cheese. (B, D)
Day 5
ORVIETO & WINE TASTING
Today we visit the medieval grand hill town of Orvieto in Umbria, set above fields streaked with vines, olive groves and cypress trees. After free time here we make our way to the nearby Bindella Wine Estate for a wonderful tasting session with a selection of wines and accompaniments. (B, D)
Day 6
CHIANCIANO TERME
Enjoy a day at leisure you to relax in resort. Perhaps visit the thermal baths or one of the museums, or simply enjoy strolling around the town. (B, D)
Day 7
SIENA
This morning we travel to Siena, possibly Italy's loveliest medieval city. Here we have a guided walking tour to help us explore the central piazza, Il Campo. We then enjoy free time at leisure to explore further. A visit to the impressive Gothic Cathedral is recommended. (B, D)
Day 8
CHIANCIANO TERME TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B,D)
Day 9
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We continue our journey to our final overnight hotel. (B,D)
Day 10
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
