The A-ROSA AQUA offers the ultimate in comfort and luxury for guests to take in the passing scenery. There are 99 outside cabins with a maximum of 202 passengers on four decks. It is an international ship with an international Cruise Director and all announcements are also made in English.

Following our Channel crossing to Calais we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO COLOGNE
We continue our journey where we embark the A-ROSA AQUA, our home for the next 5 nights. We depart this evening and sail through the night. (B,D)

Day 3

ANTWERP
The port city of Antwerp is a must-see. Rich in art and culture, it is also known as the 'Diamond City' due to its important role in the diamond trade. Antwerp is particularly enjoyable for foodies thanks to the many tasty Belgian specialities on offer there, including waffles, chocolates and chips. We depart here late on this evening and sail through the night. (B, L, D)

Day 4

AMSTERDAM - CHRISTMAS EVE
Enjoy a full day cruising the Rhine before arriving into Amsterdam by late afternoon. The rest of Christmas Eve is free for you to explore the Christmas markets and be enchanted by the unique festive atmosphere. (B,L,D)

Day 5

AMSTERDAM - CHRISTMAS DAY
On Christmas Day illuminated houseboats bob along the canals in Amsterdam, the city of 1539 bridges. The creative Dutch outdo each other when it comes to Christmas decorations, the brighter the lights the better! We depart early evening and sail through the night. (B,L,D)

Day 6

DÜSSELDORF - BOXING DAY
Düsseldorf welcomes you on Boxing Day. Immerse yourself in the rich history and modern flair of the city. Visit the festively decorated Königsallee or explore the charming Old Town district, also known as 'the longest bar in the world'. (B,L,D)

Day 7

FROM COLOGNE
After disembarking we travel to Calais for the return sea crossing and complete the journey home. (B)

Please note this cruise is operated by A-ROSA. All sailing times are approximate and can be subject to change. On certain cruises, it may be necessary to sail throughout the night, details of which will be shown on your final itinerary where applicable. Cruise ports of call are generally situated in central locations of the cities or resorts that we are visiting. However, we cannot guarantee that the resort/city centres are within suitable walking distances from where the ship docks. River cruise routes could be subject to change due to local weather, traffic, flooding, high and low water levels, lock closures, road works and other unforeseen circumstances. A-ROSA and the ship's captain reserve the right to modify the cruising itinerary to ensure the safe navigation of the vessel.

Supplements reflect the deck position and not the size of the cabin.

The on-board currency is Euro. During the trip, use your cabin card as your own credit card. At the end of the journey you can pay your final account in cash, with EC card or with the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, American Express. When paying by credit card or EC/Maestro card, you will need your PIN code. Please make sure that you have your personal PIN code with you. The booking of shore excursions will be billed to your cabin account.
