Day 1
TO PARIS
Following our Channel crossing to Calais and make our way to Paris where we board our ship for our four nights cruise. Join the crew for a welcome cocktail before dinner. Depending on the water level, our ship will set off for a magical tour of Paris by night. (D)
Day 2
PARIS TO LES ANDELYS TO ROUEN
Early this morning we'll start cruising along the Seine, then disembark for a visit to Château de Martainville. We will cross Le Petit Andelys to arrive at the chateau that was built at the end of the 15th century. Here we'll learn about 500 years of rural Normandy history and discover the largest collection of Upper Normandy furniture before re-joining the ship in Rouen. (B,L,D)
Day 3
ROUEN TO HONFLEUR
This morning in the small port of Honfleur we'll join a guided walking tour. Honfleur sits at the mouth of the River Seine as it flows into the English Channel and has remained untouched by the passage of time. In the afternoon we join another excursion to the Alabaster Coast whose high cliffs of white chalk and stone beaches were popularised by the paintings of Claude Monet. We also call in at the charming fishing village of Etretat. (B,L,D)
Day 4
HONFLEUR TO ROUEN
Today we'll enjoy an included guided walking tour of Rouen, the capital of Normandy and important in the Roman and Middle Ages. It boasts a cobbled pedestrian centre with medieval half-timbered house and several Gothic churches. We will re-join our ship and start cruising towards Rouen, before enjoying our gala dinner this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 5
PARIS TO HOME
After disembarking in Paris, we travel to Calais for the return sea crossing and complete the journey home. (B)
