Following our Channel crossing to Calais we travel to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (D)

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO COLOGNE
We continue our journey where we embark the A-ROSA BRAVA our home for the next 7 nights. We depart this evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and sail through the night. (B,D)
Day 3
COCHEM
This morning sees us arrive into Cochem, a small town in the heart of the Moselle Valley. Here you will find a fairytale castle, historic centre and river promenade. We set sail this evening and travel through the night.

Day 4
KOBLENZ
We arrive in Koblenz early this morning and enjoy an included guided walking tour of the old town which dates back over 2,000 years and boasts a wealth of sights and cultural attractions. Watch as the ship sails close to the famous Deutches Eck headland. There is time to take a cable car over the Rhine to the mighty Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with magnificent views of both the Rhine and Moselle rivers. We are moored in Koblenz overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 5
KOBLENZ & THE RHINE IN FLAMES FLOTILLA EXPERIENCE
There is time for more sightseeing in Koblenz this morning before setting sail at lunchtime. Sit back and relax this afternoon as we sail to St Goar to join a flotilla of up to 50 river ships for the highlight of this special cruise - the Rhine Flames Spectacular. You will join in the celebrations, by taking your place on the sun deck with your favourite included drink to embrace the special atmosphere. In the evening, the riverbank becomes a magical spectacle, with music and fireworks (the Rhine in Flames) lighting up the night to celebrate the importance and beauty of the mighty River Rhine. Being on the sun deck and witnessing this magical event from the perspective of the river, is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the Rhine in Flames event, the ship continues southbound toward Mainz. (B,L,D)
Day 6
MAINZ
We spend the day in Mainz where you will find an Old Town with a magnificent cathedral, half-timbered houses and medieval market squares. Perhaps also visit the Gutenberg Museum, and discover the inventor of the printing press. The A-ROSA Destination Scout will be in hand to help you get the best from you day with advise on the best places to visit. (B,L,D)
Day 7
FRANKFURT
Today is spent in the city of Frankfurt on the River Main, with its lovingly restored old town to enjoy.. It is home to the headquarters of major banks and has some futuristic looking high rise buildings and you'll get a closer look at theme when your cruise takes you along the Main river. (B,L,D)
Day 8
RÜDESHEIM
We arrive in the bustling town of Rüdesheim early this morning and you will have the day here to explore at leisure. Be sure to visit the narrow cobblestoned lane the Drosselgasse where you will find many shops and bier taverns in half-timbered medieval buildings. We depart Rüdesheim in the early evening and sail through the night. (B,L,D)

FROM COLOGNE
After disembarking we travel to Calais for the return sea crossing and complete the journey home. (B)
