Enjoy a scenic drive through the Durham Dales, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to Barnard Castle, a historic market town with many antique shops and independent retailers. From here we continue to the Bowes Museum, a spectacular French-style Chateau with outstanding collections of art, fashion and design.

BEAMISH OPEN AIR MUSEUM
Excursion to the superb Beamish Open Air Museum which tells the story of life in North East England in the 1820's, 1900's, 1940's and 1950's vividly to life. Explore towns from various decades, a pit village, several farms, a collier and the Beamish Tramway which also provides transport for visitors around the site.
