DAY 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following the Channel crossing to Calais we make our way to our overnight dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation. (D)

DAY 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We continue our journey through France for an overnight stay in the Bordeaux area on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (B, D)

DAY 3

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO PLAYA DE ISLA
We complete the journey to our resort, stopping en route for a wine tasting. Enjoy a welcome drink and appetizer on arrival, followed by dinner. (B,D)

DAY 4

FREE DAY
Enjoy a day at leisure, relaxing in our resort. (B,D)

DAY 5

BILBAO
Today we visit Bilbao where we have a half day guided tour of this vibrant and cultural city. Bilbao is famous for the iconic Guggenheim Museum with its modern architecture, a contrast to the city's historic quarter with a maze of pretty streets and ornate buildings. (B,D)

DAY 6

PICOS DE EUROPA NATIONAL PARK & FUENTE DÉ CABLE CAR
Our excursion today takes us through the Spanish countryside to the Picos de Europa National Park's Sotama Visitor Centre close to the village of Potes. After some time here we make our way to Fuente Dé with time for lunch before travelling on the Fuente Dé cable car up the sheer mountain slope to enjoy spectacular views from the top at a height of 1,800 metres. DAY 7

SANTANDER
Today we visit the engaging capital city of Cantabria, Santander where we enjoy a half day guided tour. Here you will find fine beaches, the Palacio de la Magdalena, once the royal summer residence which lies at the mouth of the Bay of Santander and Santander Cathedral in the city centre. (B,D)

DAY 8

SANTOÑA & LAREDO
This morning we make the short journey to the fishing town of Santoña, the main canning port in Cantabria and famed for its anchovies in oil. The town holds a large outdoor market every Saturday. In the afternoon spend some time in one of Cantabria's most popular tourist towns, Laredo, with one of the longest and most beautiful beaches in the region. (B, D)

DAY 9

FREE DAY
We spend our last day in Cantabria relaxing at our hotel.. (B, D)

DAY 10

PLAYA DE ISLA TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)

DAY 11

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
