Our fascinating tour to Berlin ensures you see the highlights of this most fascinating capital city, with insights into life behind the Iron Curtain as well as iconic sights such as the Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie.

Day 1

TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais, we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 2

OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO BERLIN
We complete the journey to our hotel in Berlin where we stay for the next three nights. There will be dinner at the hotel this evening.

Day 3

HIGHLIGHTS OF BERLIN TOUR
Enjoy a fascinating city tour, seeing the main sights including Potsdamer Platz; Checkpoint Charlie; the TV Tower; the Kurfurstendamm; Charlottenburg Palace and the Gendarmenmarkt, arguably Berlin's most beautiful square. We will also see the iconic Brandenburg Gate. This evening enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

BERLIN
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Berlin. (B)

Day 5

BERLIN AT ITS BEST TOUR
Excursion to the trendy Prenzlauer Berg area, once part of the East German sector. Here we'll visit an exhibition chronicling 'Daily Life in the East' to get an insight into life behind the Iron Curtain. There will also be free time to explore at leisure, and this evening you can dine as you please in Berlin.

Day 6

BERLIN TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 7

FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We travel to Calais and complete the journey home.
