Enjoy a visit to the superb Beamish  - The Living Museum of the North. It is a fantastic living, working experience of life as it was in North East England in the 18^th and 19^th centuries. The 1900’s town, colliery, pit village and 1940’s farm really bring history to life.

HADRIANS WALL & CHESTERS ROMAN FORT

With our local Blue Badge Guide we take a short panoramic tour through the city and then travel west along the part of the route of Hadrian’s Wall which stretches 73 miles from coast to coast. During our day we’ll visit Chesters Roman Fort, the most complete Roman cavalry fort in Britain and the charming market town of Hexham.
