Liverpool is so much more that just the Beatles, on our new tour we’ll enjoy a fascinating ‘Living Memories’ tour highlighting iconic places in the history of the city, including some with a Welsh connection. We’ll also spend a day exploring the Wirral Peninsula with visits to Port Sunlight Village and beautiful Ness Botanic Gardens.
LIVERPOOL LIVING MEMORIES TOUR
Enjoy a fascinating tour which will take you back as you see points of interest relating to products and brands that have their home in Liverpool, as well as musical history elements including Strawberry Field and the Cavern Club. We’ll see places in the city with a Welsh connection, and no trip to Liverpool is complete without taking a ferry cross the Mersey!
PORT SUNLIGHT VILLAGE & NESS BOTANIC GARDENS
Excursion to the Wirral Peninsula, with a blue badge guide where we will visit Port Sunlight Village, created by William Lever for his workers at his Sunlight Soap Factory. You can step in side a workers cottage and experience life in Port Sunlight in Victorian Times. We also visit Ness Botanic Gardens, spread across 64 acres with stunning views of the River Dee and North Wales.
