Day 1
TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN THE NETHERLANDS
Following the Channel crossing to Calais, we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation. (D)
Day 2
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN GERMANY
We continue our journey eastwards and to our overnight hotel in Germany where we stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. (B, D)
Day 3
OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN GERMANY TO WIELICZKA
We cross over the border and into Poland to Wieliczka, around 5 miles from central Kraków where we stay for the next four nights. (B, D)
Day 4
KRAKÓW
This morning we enjoy a city tour of Kraków to show you all the main sights which makes the 'City of Kings' as Kraków is known so popular. You will see the Old Town, visit the Market Square, St Mary's Basilica and the University before enjoying some free time at leisure before we return to our hotel in time for dinner. (B, D)
Day 5
WAWEL ROYAL CASTLE & WIELICZKA SALT MINE
Today we have a guided tour of Wawel Royal Castle, one of the most famous castles in Poland, located on a hill high above Kraków it consists of a number of structures around a main courtyard. Later we continue to Wieliczka Salt Mines, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where nearly everything is made of salt from its many chapels and beautiful chandeliers. We return to our hotel in time for dinner. (B, D)
NB: please dress in suitable clothing as it is cold in the Salt Mines
Day 6
AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU & SCHINDLER'S FACTORY
Today make a poignant visit to the Auschwitz Memorial where it is essential to visit both parts of the Camp, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau in order to acquire a proper sense of the place that has become the symbol of the Holocaust of the European Jews. In the afternoon we visit the Oskar Schindler Enamel Factory that was a place of work for many Jews during the Nazi occupation. This evening our farewell dinner will take place at the famous Klemzer Hois restaurant which serves dishes of traditional Jewish cuisine. (B, D)
Day 7
WIELICZKA TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN GERMANY
We retrace our steps through Poland and into Germany where we stay overnight once more on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. (B,D)
Day 8
OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN GERMANY TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL IN THE NETHERLANDS
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation. (B, D)
Day 9

Continue to Calais and complete the journey home. (B)
