The historic spa town of Harrogate is the perfect base from which to enjoy a holiday to Yorkshire. We’ll enjoy a scenic drive into the Yorkshire Dales National Park visiting Wensleydale Creamery, as well as a visit to the fascinating Eden Camp and Yorkshire Lavender.

Day 1

Depart local pick ups and travel to Harrogate and on to our hotel for 4 night's dinner bed & breakfast accommodation

Days 2 - 4

At leisure in resort with the following excursions included:
1. Eden Camp & Yorkshire Lavender
2. Yorkshire Dales & Wensleydale Creamery

Day 5

We depart our hotel after breakfast and return home making suitable comfort stops en route

Excursion 1

EDEN CAMP & YORKSHIRE LAVENDER
Excursion to the award-winning Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum where you can experience the sights, sounds and smells of life on the Home Front and the Front Line, all set in the buildings and grounds of an original World War 2 Prisoner of War Camp. From here we visit Yorkshire Lavender a family run lavender farm, gardens and specialist plant nursery.

Excursion 2

YORKSHIRE DALES & WENSLEYDALE CREAMERY
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the quaint village of Hawes where we visit the Wensleydale Creamery, home of Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese. The interactive experience here takes you on a journey through the art of cheese-making by the team of master cheese-makers.
