Day 1
TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
Following our Channel crossing to Calais, we complete the journey to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation.
Day 2
OVERNIGHT HOTEL TO BERLIN
We depart our overnight hotel and complete our journey to Berlin where we stay for the next three nights.
Day 3
CITY TOUR & BERLIN CHRISTMAS MARKET
This morning enjoy a guided city tour by coach during which you will travel down some of the main city centre streets and see famous sights such as Alexanderplatz, the TV tower and the Brandenburg Gate. After the city tour we visit the East Side Gallery where you can see works of art on the remains of the Berlin Wall that are still standing today. From here we make our way back into the city centre where you can visit one of the city's numerous Christmas markets. This evening dinner is taken at a traditional restaurant in the Hackesche Höfe area of Berlin.
Day 4
SPREEWALD CHRISTMAS
The Spreewald, or forest is just a coach ride from Berlin and offers a special atmosphere, especially at Christmas time with snow covered tree-tops glistening in the winter sun. Here we visit the Lehde Open Air Museum with an exhibition of 'Christmas as it was before'. Then enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of numerous stalls selling various food and drink specialities as well as regional craftsmanship before we return to the hotel.
Day 5
BERLIN TO OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We depart our hotel and continue to our overnight dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation.
Day 6
FROM OVERNIGHT HOTEL
We travel to Calais and complete the journey home.
